N. E. Washington Health Programs (NEWHP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Lewis, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), to its Loon Lake clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays and Lake Spokane Community Health Center, Wednesday-Friday with 7:00 am appointments available.

Mr. Lewis earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University, soon to achieve his Master of Health Science with an emphasis on Sports Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. 

His extensive clinical experience includes: complex care of hospitalized patients; family practice; internal medicine; cardiology and urgent care. He has also served in an educator and mentor role for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. He is a Board Certified Asthma Educator and a Clinical Exercise Specialist.

Mr. Lewis brings his life-long passion for sports and good health to his practice. In his words: “My focus is on forming a partnership with my patients, so we can create an environment that is focused on wellness and prevention. I sincerely enjoy working with people to help them return to, as well as maintain, the best possible health and functioning. I have extensive training and experience in the areas of diabetes, asthma and sports medicine.”
