Dr. Jillian Foglesong
August 17, 2010. N. E. Washington Health Programs (NEWHP) is pleased to announce that Jillian R. Foglesong, M.D., has joined its Loon Lake and Chewelah Community Health Centers. Dr. Foglesong is a Family Practitioner who is also trained in obstetrics, endoscopy and colonoscopy. She will split her time equally between the two health centers, and will have privileges at St. Joseph’s hospital in Chewelah.
Dr. Foglesong received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her experience includes work in both a medical center and family medicine practice.
When asked about why she chose our area, Dr Foglesong replied: “It has always been my goal to join a rural practice and to be able to provide full-scope Family Medicine including OB and procedures. I am very excited about becoming part of the NEWHP family.”
Dr. Foglesong, who grew up in Quincy, Washington, is also a pianist and vocalist. She enjoys cooking, cross-stitch and physical fitness activities. She joins NEWHP during an exciting period of expansion at the Loon Lake clinic, which will result in two additional exam rooms, a triage area and increased administrative and provider space.
