Patient Medication Assistance Programs

The community health centers of N.E. Washington Health Programs understand that many of their patients do not have insurance and the funds to pay for medications. Many pharmaceutical corporations have programs to assist patients in obtaining their monthly medications at little or no cost.

Their programs are similar to our Sliding Fee program where eligibility is based on annual income and number of persons living in the household. Once eligibility is determined, the clinic staff completes the paperwork and the patient signs the application. All of our community health centers offer this valuable service, so please ask about it.

As a federally qualified health center [FQHC], N.E. Washington Health Programs' clinics are able to purchase discounted outpatient drugs for non-Medicaid patients. As a service to our non-Medicaid patients, we are able to dispense drugs prescribed to you by our providers at a much reduced rate.

It is the goal of N.E. Washington Health Programs to continually try and meet the increasing need for access to affordable medical care in our rural counties.
