The Quality Improvement Department at N.E. Washington Health Programs (NEWHP) is responsible for the assessment, tracking and reporting of the quality of health care services provided. Federal and State regulations are the baseline for such monitoring. Many different areas are evaluated for quality, and staff receives training on a regular basis. Some of the regulations that require ongoing assessment and training include safety, infection control, environmental management, emergency preparedness, corporate compliance and ethics.
